Sofrito Green Beans

This is one of my favorite ways to get more vegetables in my diet! It’s a great side dish.
Prep: 5 minutes
Cook: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound green beans
- 1 cup sofrito
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
Equipment
- Sauté pan
- Wok or large saucepan
Instructions
- Toast almonds in olive oil in a sauté pan until golden brown at the edges
- In a wok or large sauce pan, toss the green beans in sofrito until they are softened
- To serve, top the green beans with toasted almonds
